Altar Servers

Altar Servers assist the priest during Mass. This includes walking with the crucifix or candles in procession, giving the wine and bread to the priest at the altar, and holding the Roman Missal while the priest prays over the faithful. They may also assist with funerals and weddings and become proficient at carrying the incense. Servers may be boys or girls, women or men. This ministry is a wonderful way for school-aged children especially to take on roles of responsibility and leadership in the parish and the Church and for adults to be more involved in the parish and learn more about the Mass.

St. Anthony

Open to children 5th grade and older. There is no age limit for adults

St. Helen

Students in grades 5 through 12 (as well as adults for the 9:00am mass and funerals) are welcome to become altar servers. For students, permission from parents is required. Training sessions must be attended for all new servers.

Holy Angels
